DESCRIPTION

Tube
Smooth, black, seamless synthetic rubber,
resistant to superheated and satured steam.
Reinforcement
Two braids of high-tensile steel wire.

Cover
Smooth, black, synthetic rubber, resistant to
heat, ageing, abrasion and weathering.
The cover is pin-pricked to prevent blister during
use.

APPLICATIONS
Suitable for loading satured and superheated
steam in cleaning and sterilization applications,
fire prevention and general industrial use.
Drain after use.
Continuous use at maximum peak temperature can shorten
service life.

WORKING TEMPERATURE
- 40°F to +401°F with peaks up to +435°F.

RECOMMENDATIONS
Use only ITR couplings with safety clamps.
Check coupling tightness before every utilisation.

WARNING
Steam hoses gradually decrease in their performances during
service life.
Consequently, they need to be regularly inspected by trained personnel
wearing adequate protective cloths overall, including eye
protection.

WARNINGS OF DANGER
Cuts and gauges in the hose cover showing the reinforcement.
Steam leaks.
Permanent deformation of hose.
Reduction of steam flow.

WHEN ONE OF THESE ABNORMALITIES OCCURS, THE
HOSE SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM SERVICE AND
INSPECTED.
