DESCRIPTION

Tube:
smooth, black colour antistatic EPM rubber.

Reinforcement:
synthetic textile fabrics, embedded steel wire
helix and built-in copper wire to facilitate the
electrical connection between the hose and the
end couplings.

Cover:
smooth, antistatic (R< 10 6 /m) black colour,
abrasion, and weather resistant EPDM rubber.

APPLICATIONS
Designed for suction and delivery of highly aggressive chemicals
according to our Chemical Resistant Table and EN 12115.

STANDARD LENGTHS
Up to and including inside diameter 63.5 mm: 40 m.
For bigger inside diameter 20 m or on request 40 m.

PACKING
All hose coils are wrapped in polythene film.

SUCTION
Up to including inside diameter 63.5 mm.: 0.90 bar.
For bigger inside diameter: 0.80 bar.

According to EN 12115

On inside diameter:
from I.D. 19 up to 38 mm ± 0.50 mm
for I.D. 50 and 51 mm ± 0.70 mm

APPLICATIONS
Designed and approved for use in water cooling exhaust gas
systems and also as fire resistant fuel hose for crafts.
Suitable for general loading and unloading oils and fuels service.

WORKING TEMPERATURE
Working temperature: from -30 °C (-22 °F) to +100 °C (+212 °F).

STANDARD LENGTHS
Up to and including inside diameter 63.5 mm: max 40 m.
From inside diameter 65 mm to 125 mm: max 20 m.

PACKING
All hose coils are wrapped in polythene film.

SUCTION
Suitable for max suction 0.80 bar (600 mm Hg)

TYPE APPROVAL CERTIFICATE
SM/TR 311 hoses are found to comply with NORDIC BOAT
STANDARD 1990 - MC 8 (Fuel hoses for boats) and MC 9
(Exhaust hoses for boats) by DET NORSKE VERITAS. The
European Directive 94/25/CE and accordance with EN ISO
7840-A1 (Fire resistant fuel hoses) is certified by "Consorzio
DNV Modulo Uno" (CE0496).

ASSEMBLING
For a correct hose assembling, use high quality fittings only and
follow carefully the recommendations of the fitting manufacturer

ITR fittings.
